About
Dr Rajiv Sethi MBBS, MBA, MPH, AKC
As a practising doctor working in the National Health Service (NHS), I am passionate about collaboration, innovation and digital transformation to improve health outcomes locally and globally..
While a medical student at King's College London, training at Guy's, King's College and St. Thomas' Hospitals, I worked to redesign the new medical curriculum 2020 through digital collaboration. This work was recognised by the national Sir John Ellis Prize and awarded a distinction at Stanford University, USA.
I hold a Masters in Business Administration and a Masters in Public Health focussing on global digital health. In 2016, I was invited to join the founding faculty of the World's first Digital Health and Innovation module for medical students at the University of London.
As a medical student, I was appointed as the youngest Global Fellow at Health Education England and Clinical Entrepreneur Fellow at NHS England. I am a recipient of the USA Telluride Scholarship, learning from patients and interprofessional peers at the Academy for Emerging Leaders in Patient Safety.
To globalise learning in health for all, I co-founded the ICGRx platform which in 2016 held the World's first global Grand Round, sharing knowledge with partners across continents, students, patients, clinicians, academics and stakeholders.
I am a recipient of the prestigious Association for the Study of Medical Education New Leaders Award and the Greater Manchester Health & Care Award in 2019 for work which includes establishing the national widening participation initiative 'Becoming a Doctor' (@BecomingaDr) and the National Health Careers Conference.
The past 5 years have seen the evolution of the National Health Careers Conference, with the development of the 'Virtual Health Careers Conference' and the Health Careers Live platform addressing local, regional, national and global health workforce challenges. The 100+ strong programme team(s) were recognised with the NHS Parliamentary Award for improving Health Inequalities (NW) and now support a global community of current and future health workers from 151 countries.
As an invited keynote speaker at conferences and advisor to government and industry, I have developed a national and international reputation supporting varied health systems. In 2021, Members of Parliament and the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care honoured me with the NHS Parliamentary Award for a significant contribution to the National Health Service in England.
I and my team would be delighted to hear from you. Please feel free to get in touch.
Best wishes,
Rajiv
